My Goal is To Rest More

Experience Deep Rest Together  

For most of my life, I was addicted to being busy. At times

I have even used my yoga practice as a way to keep busy and keep moving to avoid a deeper encounter with myself that accompanies the still and quiet. It wasn't until I  discovered the power of deep rest and what it means to give up on worrying and fretting and the sense that there is something wrong with the world unless we are there to put it right. 

Restorative yoga postures help to release tension in the body, supporting the slowing down of the nervous system and to get out of the fight or flight response. Restorative yoga allows us to relearn the art of relaxation while developing the skills and abilities to self-soothe. It enhances our healing capacity by helping us regulate the stress response and re-balance the nervous system.

To rest is not self indulgent, to rest is to prepare to give the best of ourselves. To pause is not selfish because it makes you much more fun to be around.

Weekly Deep Rest session Live on-line

Monday's 8pm-9pm GMT

  • Join a community of people that love to rest, feel a sense of belonging and allow the energy of the space draw you in.

  • Release deep seated tension, shift the nervous system back into balance and rest the mind.

  • Slow mindful breath-work to help calm and nourish 

  • In restorative yoga practice the focus is not on stretching and strengthening but on releasing. By releasing tension in the body and freeing up the breath, we may powerfully affect change in the actual structure of the body and the state of the mind. 

A beautiful way to start the day 

Weekly Prerecorded 20 minute session

  • Join me every week at your own connivence for a beautiful way to start the day.

  • 3 short sequences designed to set you up for the day

  • Starting with a gentle yin session, a cooler, slower, inner practise. Each shape is held for a minimum of 2 minutes.  

  • An invigorating shake session to recharge the body, soul and mind. Take this a slow or as fast as you wish, work within your own capacity.

  • A empowering  breatheWork exercise.

  • Finished off with a meditation practice, with powerful affirmations to take you through your day.

In person 1-1 private Deep Rest Sessions

  • First session 90 minute -£90 

  • Sessions after the initial session is 60 minutes- £75

  • Buy a block of 4 session £270 =£67.50 per session
