What To Expect
30 minute Gentle Breathe-Work
90 minute Yin Practise
30 min Mediation Practise
90 minute Restorative Practise
Vegeterain Lunch- Refreshments and Snacks.
Starting with slow mindful breath-work, and a 90 minute Yin practise, to release tension and open up the energetic pathways in the body.
We then stop for a homemade vegetarian lunch and refreshments, while connecting with the rest of group, building meaningfull relatioships. We will then leave the studio for a beautiful walk to connect us to the elements of the Meon Valley, before heading back to the studio.
As we settle back in to our space, i will guide you through a 2 hour nourishing restorative practise. Resting in supported restorative yoga postures helps to shift the nervous system back into balance, this allows the power of the breath to move blocked energy and raise awareness. Immersive + deep meditation begins to heal and attend to deeper matters.
The day will end with a guided Yoga Nidra described as “dynamic sleep". The Yoga Nidra practise allows the body to deeply relax while the mind stays inwardly alert.
Yoga Nidra guides practitioners into the “hypnagogic state” - The threshold between alpha and theta waves - the knife's edge where the body “sleeps” while the mind is lucid.
Calming pranayama (breathe-work) throughout, cultivating the qualities of acceptance, stillness and letting go.
